Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., left no doubt he is the Republican nominee in the Kentucky GOP Senate primary Tuesday night, blowing out the field.
Newsmax’s Decision Desk HQ made the call at the close of polls at 7 p.m. ET.
Paul, endorsed by former President Donald Trump, was in no real danger against a slew of relative unknowns. Paul was pulling nearly 85% support in early returns. You can track all of the races in Tuesday night’s primaries here.
Paul will face Democrat nominee Charles Booker, who was also an easy winner Tuesday night. Decision Desk HQ called his race right at the close of polls, as he was pulling around 74% of the early voting returns.
